Barbados Gays & Lesbians Against Discrimination
Welcome to the website of Barbados Gays & Lesbians Against Discrimination(BGLAD). As promised we have started to update the website. Included in the recent update are articles and letters published in the daily newspapers in Barbados and others relating to the various developments internationally. This update is not a full representation of everything that has occurred and hopefully we will be able to provide you with more material in the coming weeks. These articles can be viewed on our news page. Also, please check the justbajan.com website for the opinion section. Some topics cover the areas of gay unions and homosexuality. We are also seeking ways to enhance the website. We hope this site will be useful and informative and welcome your suggestions to help us improve and deliver the information and services you want to see. We at BGLAD will continue to push for a society that does not tolerate discrimination in any form and in particular discrimination against gays and lesbians. Please encourage your friends to visit our site and offer their support via our message board. It is currently the annual Crop-Over Festival in Barbados. For those of you who don't know, this is our annual carnival. We at BGLAD want to wish everyone the very best for the season. It seems like it will be another wonderful year. We however ask that you remember to be careful at all times. Remember not to drink and drive and also remember to protect yourself by using condoms....your life is in your hands. Thanks for joining BGLAD online and have a great day. |
